Florida Libertarians and libertarians

Florida is one of the largest states in the USA. Florida is fourth largest in population, too.

Knowing this, it's probably no surprise that the libertarian movement is pretty big in Florida.

First of all, there are a lot of people who identify themselves as libertarians. By this we mean small "l" libertarians. This means that they don't belong to the Libertarian Party.

Libertarian Party members sometimes refer to themselves as big "L" libertarians. They are, of course, referring to the fact that they are members of America's third largest party, the Libertarian Party, sometimes abbreviated to just "LP".
